Easter Cordage Workshop - Online
Giving loved fabrics new life - Friday, April 3, 5pm-7pm Pacific Time
Learn the ancient art of making cordage by turning fabrics in your life into lengths of cord that can be worn as a necklace, at hatband or draped as a garland. This class is great for those new to cordage or needing a refresher. Most fabrics are willing to become cordage (regardless of color!) but for this class we will focus on light weight woven materials such as a button down shirt, a blouse or thin handkerchief. You will learn how to add beads and make a simple yet unique and strong cord. I first began making cordage with fabrics that were special to my family. Cordage is a wonderful way to honor those we love. A materials list will be sent out after registration in a welcome email. Happy that you can join me!
